    Abstract: An image display device includes a circuit board having a surface, partitioning members provided on the surface of the circuit board, a discontinuous portion formed between the partitioning members, light-emitting elements provided on the surface of the circuit board, a liquid crystal panel provided on the partitioning members so that the partitioning members are provided between the liquid crystal panel and the surface of the circuit board, and a control circuit. At least one of the light-emitting elements is provided in each of the partitioning members to be surrounded by each of the partitioning members which is configured to reflect light emitted from the at least one of the light-emitting elements. The control circuit is configured to control the liquid crystal panel to improve uneven light distributions of the light-emitting elements caused by the discontinuous portion.
