  • Patent number: 6965323
Abstract: In a motor vehicle sharing system for managing motor vehicles parked in a parking area and renting the motor vehicles to users, the motor vehicle is provided with a detector for detecting the start and end of motor vehicle rental, and a usage data measuring section for starting and completing measurements for motor vehicle usage data. The detector contains a position detector for detecting the parking area. The motor vehicle is further provided with a membership list in which user information is recorded, a charge list, a rentability judging section for judging whether the motor vehicle is rentable, and a charging data generating section for making charging data by referring to the motor vehicle usage data measured by the usage data measuring section and the charge list Thus, it is possible to perform the rental and return operation without relying on a control center.

  • Publication number: 20040176969
Abstract: When a user accesses a control center by using a portable terminal, whether or not a “reserved rental” is available is designated according to a date in which the shared motor vehicle is used. For example, only the “non-reserved rental” is permitted from Monday through Friday in which a motor vehicle is often used for a short period of time. “Reserved rental” is compatibly employed on Saturday, Sunday, and holiday in which a motor vehicle is used on a planned schedule. It is determined whether or not the designated date indicates that a reservation is possible, thus, if the designated date indicates that a reservation is possible, a reservation is accepted. Thus, a useful motor vehicle sharing system for the user can be provided in which an operating ratio of the motor vehicles does not decrease even if the “reserved rental” and the “non-reserved rental” coexist.

  • Publication number: 20040122561
Abstract: When a staff member reports a start of daily work from a portable terminal to a control center, a staff member controlling section which is included in the controlling section starts to handle the staff member. Also, a motor vehicle controlling section which is included in the controlling section acknowledges a maintenance condition of a shared motor vehicle which is recorded in a motor vehicle master and a port master and a partiality condition of the motor vehicles in each port so as to detect a staff member's job which is supposed to be done by the staff member and a port position in which the job is necessary to be done by the staff member. The staff member controlling section selects a staff member who can arrive at the port first in which a new job occurs according to the estimated job completion time at which the staff member completes the present job. A job notifying section which is included in the controlling section notifies the job to the portable terminal of the staff member.

  • Patent number: 5150288
Abstract: A production management system for controlling a production line such as an automobile assembling line includes a plurality of slave computers for controlling assembling robots in assembling stations, and a host computer for supervising common information required by the slave computers. When the common information is to be modified due to a change in the robots, the common iinformation stored in the host computer is modified into corrected common information, and the corrected common information is transmitted from the host computer to the slave computers. The common information stored in the slave computers can therefore be modified by the corrected common information.

  • Patent number: 5088045
Abstract: A production management system controls a production line having a plurality of assembling/machining stations including pieces of production equipment such as nut runners. The production management system includes a computer for supplying control information to control the pieces of production equipment, a first information network for transmitting the control information from the computer to the assembling/machining stations, and a second information network for transmitting information indicating results of operation in the assembling/machining stations to downstream assembling/machining stations to allow defective portions of workpieces to be repaired in the subsequent assembling/machining stations. The first information network comprises a plurality of separate networks associated respectively with divided portions of the production line.
