  • Publication number: 20110132899
Abstract: To obtain a converter circuit capable of being made to be small and light-weighted and reducing switching loss, a motor drive control apparatus, an air-conditioner, a refrigerator, and an induction heating cooker provided with the circuit. There are provided: a step-up converter 3a including a rectifier 2, a step-up reactor 4a, a switching element 5a, and a reverse current prevention element 6a; a step-up converter 3b having a step-up reactor 4b, a switching element 5b, and a reverse current prevention element 6b and connected in parallel with the step-up converter 3a; switching control means 7 that controls switching elements 5a and 5b; and a smoothing capacitor that is provided at the output of the step-up converters 3a and 3b. The switching control means 7 switches the current mode of the current flowing through the step-up reactors 4a and 4b into any of a continuous mode, a critical mode, and a discontinuous mode based on a predetermined condition.

  • Publication number: 20090011831
Abstract: In a game device (301) for showing a past operation history to a player in comparison with the current operation status, a first moving unit (303) moves a first object in a virtual space based on a moving instruction input received by an input receiving unit (302), an input history storage unit (304) stores the moving instruction input as input history information, a second moving unit (305) moves a second object in the virtual space based on input history information stored in the past, an assessment unit (306) assesses whether or not the first object and the second object are overlapping in the virtual space, and a display unit (307) displays the second object in a case where a non-overlapping state has been identified and stops the display of the second object in a case where an overlapping state has been identified.

  • Patent number: 7322224
Abstract: A drawing method for forming a reflective curved surface by pressing a metal plate fitted in a fixed die with a movable die. The fixed die is composed of a lower die and a core, and the movable die is composed of an upper die and a presser. During the drawing, the metal plate is pressed to have a compressed border portion between a non-pressed portion and a curved surface pressed portion. It is the most desirable to compress the border portion to have a thickness which is 70% of the thickness of the metal plate before drawing.

  • Publication number: 20070209436
Abstract: An operation input reception unit (201) receives an operation input for a virtual vehicle. A running condition managing unit (203) manages the running conditions of the virtual vehicle based on the received operation input. An acceleration calculation unit (205) calculates an acceleration in a front or back direction caused by an inertia force in a case where a managed running condition is acceleration/deceleration, and calculates an acceleration in the left or right direction caused by a centrifugal force in a case where a managed running condition is turning. A meter producing unit (206) produces a meter image showing the direction and level of acceleration based on the acceleration calculated by the acceleration calculation unit (205). A display control unit (207) synthesizes a view field image produced by an image producing unit (204) and the meter image produced by the meter producing unit (206), and displays the image on an external monitor or the like.

  • Patent number: 5854295
Abstract: Disclosed is an evacuated and unevacuated microcellular foam containing an infrared attenuating agent (IAA). The evacuated foam has an average cell size of about 70 micrometers or less. The unevacuated foam has an average cell size of 1.0 micrometers or less. The IAA provide a greater proportional reduction in foam thermal conductivity in these foams than in foams of larger cell size. Further disclosed is a method of using the foams.

  • Patent number: 5824267
Abstract: Ceramic or base metal particles of a mean diameter of 0.01 to 0.5 .mu.m having thereon bactericidal metal particles of a mean diameter of 0.0001 to 0.1 .mu.m (the mean diameter of the bactericidal metal particles is smaller than the mean diameter of the ceramic or base metal particles) are effective to give a bactericidal surface of a plastic article when they are embedded on the surface under the condition that a portion of the particle is exposed over the surface of the plastic article. The above ceramic or base metal particles having the bactericidal metal particles on their surface are also effective to sterilize liquid or solid material.

  • Patent number: 5748459
Abstract: An electric leakage preventive apparatus comprises an equivalent impedance which is equivalent to a load leakage impedance of a load in a main body; a switching unit for applying voltage to the equivalent impedance; a driving unit for driving the switching unit; and a control unit for generating a switching pattern. The leakage preventive apparatus is capable of simply and surely preventing leakage current since the earthing current is canceled by applying an anti-phase voltage to the equivalent impedance.

  • Patent number: 5352479
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for forming an electrode, which comprises printing and drying on a glass substrate a thick film paste (a) having an inorganic powder containing an inorganic pigment as the main component, dispersed in an organic binder, then printing a thick film paste (b) having an inorganic powder containing a metal power and a glass powder as the main components, dispersed in an organic binder, to cover at least a part of said thick film paste (a), followed by baking at a temperature of from 400.degree. to 800.degree. C., and then removing (a) at the portion which is not covered by (b), to form an electrode which exhibits a desired color as observed from the side opposite to the printed side. According to the present invention, an electrode which exhibits a desired color as observed from the side of the glass substrate on which no electrode is formed, can be formed with excellent productivity.
