Patent number: 11942813Abstract: When a module controller of a battery system detects an abnormality of a battery module, the module controller selects the battery module without stopping the battery module. After that, the module controller compares a current value of a current supplied to a load, with a total value of rated currents of all battery modules that are normal and that are supplying power to the load. When the current value of the current supplied to the load is greater than the total value of the rated currents of the battery modules, the module controller performs a control to stop all the battery modules. When the current value of the current supplied to the load is less than or equal to the total value of the rated currents of all the battery modules that are supplying power to the load, the module controller performs a control to stop the abnormal battery module and not to stop the normal battery modules.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: MURATA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.Inventors: Tatsuya Suzuki, Michiya Mori

Patent number: 4758789Abstract: An ESR spectrometer is equipped with a split-ring resonator comprising an electrically conductive cylinder or loop which may be excited by a microwave antenna. The conductive cylinder or loop is secured to a surface of an insulating sheet whereby the other surface may be brought to bear upon the specimen being examined. Preferredly, the insulating sheet comprises two insulating sheets with a Faraday shield sandwiched therebetween whereby the magnetic field generated by the microwave energy applied to the loop leaks to the surface of the specimen but the electric field is inhibited.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1987Date of Patent: July 19, 1988Assignee: Jeol Ltd.Inventors: Mitsuhiro Ono, Tateaki Ogata, Kokusho Sha, Michiya Suzuki, Ekuo Yoshida

Patent number: 4717880Abstract: The prior art split-ring resonator for use in an electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrometer comprises a circular cylinder made from an electrically conductive material and housed in a metallic tube. The cylinder is provided with a split extending axially of the cylinder. A sample to be investigated is inserted into the cylinder in the axial direction. In accordance with the invention, a shielding member which is wider than said slit and made from an electrically conductive material is disposed so as to shield the slit from the inside of the cylinder, whereby the resonance frequency of the resonator is not significantly affected by the presence or absence of the sample or by the amount of the inserted sample.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 1986Date of Patent: January 5, 1988Assignee: JEOL Ltd.Inventors: Mitsuhiro Ono, Kokusho Sha, Michiya Suzuki, Tateaki Ogata, Ekuo Yoshida

Patent number: 4609978Abstract: In a lighting apparatus which illuminates light ray from an illumination light source through a light distribution lens onto an illuminated surface, an inner surface of the light distribution lens is formed as continuous surface to receive incident ray in the perpendicular direction, and an outer surface of the lens for refracting outgoing ray is formed based on the equations which are made in consideration of the illuminance on the illuminated surface, thereby uniform illuminance is obtained on the illuminated surface.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 1984Date of Patent: September 2, 1986Assignee: President of Yamagata UniversityInventors: Kou-Chang Hsieh, Michiya Suzuki
