  • Publication number: 20230203283
Abstract: An NBR composition that includes, based on 100 parts by weight of NBR, 0.2 to 0.7 parts by weight, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 parts by weight, of stearic acid, and paraffin wax, which has the melting start temperature of 65° C., in an amount equal to 2 to 6 times the amount of said stearic acid, and preferably further zinc oxide and a UV resistant antioxidant. The NBR composition has improved ozone resistance using stearic acid and paraffin wax, which are generally compounded in NBR compositions, while neither affecting the material physical properties or product appearance, nor increasing the compounding amount of an ozone resistant antioxidant.

  • Publication number: 20170281127
Abstract: An ultrasound probe includes, on a surface of a casing, a center indication part configured to indicate an approximate center position of at least one side of an ultrasound transmission/reception side surface of the piezoelectric element, and the center indication part is formed such that two or more tangents intersect each other at at least a first intersection and a second intersection on a virtual center line extending in an ultrasound transmission/reception direction of the piezoelectric element and passing through the approximate center position, and that the tangents intersecting each other have gradients of opposite signs.

  • Publication number: 20150148680
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to ultrasound probes, and the purpose of the technology is to prevent a housing and housing members from cracking and to ensure safety. According to this technology, in an ultrasound probe (12) accommodating one or more elements that include at least a piezoelectric element (3) inside a housing (10), the housing is formed of a plurality of housing members mutually joined. Inside the housing, protrusions having portions extending in a direction other than the direction perpendicular to the joined planes of the housing members are provided, and the housing is filled with a mold member (7) so as to cover the protrusions and the elements accommodated in the housing. The protrusions can be made together with the housing members as units, or can be fixed to the housing members. In another form, the protrusions can be fixed to an element accommodated in the housing.

  • Publication number: 20130317366
Abstract: An intracavitary ultrasound probe includes a housing having an inset section and a holding section and an ultrasound unit built into the insertion section. A center axis of the insertion section is offset with respect to a center of a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the holding section. The holding section has a first outer surface portion and a second outer surface portion and a curvature of the first outer surface portion is smaller than a curvature of the second outer surface portion on the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7833162
Abstract: An ultrasonic probe, including an ultrasonic element for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves; a sound window enclosing the ultrasonic element; and a sound propagation liquid charged in the sound window. A barrier layer capable of inhibiting the permeation of liquids and gases is provided on a wall surface of the sound window. As the barrier layer, at least one selected from a polyparaxylylene layer and a metal layer can be used.

  • Patent number: 7798969
Abstract: In an ultrasonic probe including a storage portion formed with the coupling of a window and a frame for storing an ultrasonic device and an ultrasound propagation medium therein, the generation of a gap between the window and the frame due to a temperature change etc. can be suppressed. The ultrasonic probe includes an ultrasonic device (1) that transmits and receives ultrasound; a frame (4) that supports the ultrasonic device (1); a window (5) that is coupled with the frame (4) so as to surround the ultrasonic device (1); and an ultrasound propagation medium with which a space surrounded by the frame (4) and the window (5) is filled. The window (5) includes a resin portion (5b) having a property of letting ultrasound pass therethrough and a metal portion (5a), a part of the metal portion being embedded in an inside of the resin portion (5b) and another part being exposed to an outside of the resin portion (5b).
