  • Patent number: 8862898
Abstract: The invention relates to the switching from a first mode of operation to a second mode, of a first and a second cores of a processor of a processing device further comprising a controller. The controller sends a first message to the cores. Upon reception of the first message, sensible data handled by the cores are stored securely. The second core sends, to the first core, a second message indicating the completion of the step of storing its sensible data. Upon reception of the second message, the first core stores securely, in a storage unit, other sensible data, and, when finished, sends to the controller a third message. Upon reception of the third message, the controller sends to the first core a fourth message. Then, the first core sends a fifth message to the second core. Upon reception of the fourth and the fifth messages, the cores enter into the second mode.

  • Publication number: 20140105586
Abstract: The present application relates to a near instantaneous water heater for kitchen or bath products such as a toilet bidet or bidet. The water heater includes a cold water chamber such that water entering the water heater flows through the cold water chamber before it is heated within a heating chamber. A heating element that heats the water in the heating chamber is provided current for heating by a driver (e.g., a silicon controlled rectifier). A thermally conductive member is provided to thermally couple the driver with water in the cold water chamber, thereby using the water in the cold water chamber to cool the driver.

  • Patent number: 6865635
Abstract: A functional system comprises a set of functions (F) requiring access to a collective resource (RSRC). Such a system can be, for example, a data processing system comprising a plurality of processors requiring access to a collective memory. For reasons of cost it is desirable to guarantee a certain minimum access for one or more functions while a certain degree of flexibility as regards the access is maintained. For this purpose, the system comprises an interface (INT) adapted to implement an access scheme (AS) characterized by a plurality of states (S) passed through in a predetermined manner. A state (S) forms a possibility of access of a given length and defines an order of priority in accordance with which a function (F) can access the collective resource (RSRC).
