Abstract: The invention is to provide a planter that does not need to use a saucer or the like; said planter can be used as a planter after the content thereof is gone; the leakage of the content (soil and the like) at the distribution thereof is eliminated. The planter comprises a planter body including an air space capable of containing a plant cultivating material, wherein said planter body includes at least one drainage opening for draining a solution pored into said air space, said drainage opening being liquid tightly occluded by an occluding member, said occluding member being operatively provided for optionally opening or occluding said drainage opening from the outside of said planter, thereby realizing the planter.
