Abstract: Systems are disclosed relating to a weld module for weld training systems. In some examples, a weld module is configured for attachment to (and/or detachment from) a plug of a welding tool (e.g., welding torch, gun, stinger, foot pedal, etc.). The weld module may be configured to detect tool events based one or more signals received from the plug of the welding tool. The weld module may communicate the tool events to the weld training system for use during a weld simulation, for example.

  • Publication number: 20120241994
Abstract: A method of producing random and irregular markings and impressions on synthetic cork stoppers so as to closely mimic the surface texture of natural cork, and the stoppers produced thereby.-In one embodiment, the stopper is produced in a mold featuring a textured inner surface. In another embodiment, the stopper is extruded.

  • Patent number: 7862091
Abstract: An apparatus, circuit and method for operating a solenoid-actuated electromechanical door latching mechanism that includes a capacitor to meet the power surge requirements needed to move a door latching mechanism. A power supply at one end of a transmission line is coupled with a capacitor adjacent the solenoid at the other end of the transmission line to reduce the need for a larger capacity power, heavy gauge transmission lines and increases the distance at which a power supply may be located from a door latching device.

  • Patent number: 6267803
Abstract: A device for reducing wear to the inner wall of a cyclone separator by causing a protective layer of particulate to accumulate along the inner wall. The protective layer is facilitated by securing an expanded metal sheet along the inner wall of a cyclone separator. Once formed the protective layer of particulate acts as a shield and cushion to high-energy kinetic particles as they continue to enter the cyclone separator. The high-energy particles strike the accumulated particulate without harming the inner wall of the cyclone separator.
