  • Patent number: 7796990
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the routing of multimedia communication related signaling in a communication system. In the method a signaling message is received to a first network node. The signaling message provides an identity associated with a user. A hash key is computed from the identity. The hash key is matched to a number of key ranges, each key range being associated with a network node. A second network node is determined by detecting that said hash key belongs to the key range of the second network node. A signaling message is provided to the second network node. Subscriber data associated with the identity is obtained in from the second network node. The signaling message is processed in the second network node based on information in the subscriber data.

  • Publication number: 20100218854
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for obtaining a surface of a titanium-based metal implant intended to be inserted into bone tissue, comprising: (a) projecting particles of aluminium oxide under pressure on the external area of the implant; (b) chemically treating the sandblasted external area of the implant with an acid composition comprising sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid; and (c) thermally treating the sandblasted external area of the implant by heating at a temperature of 200-450° C. for 15-120 min. The invention likewise defines a metal implant having said surface. The surface thus obtained has good micrometer-scale roughness with a suitable morphology, as well as a composition which is virtually free of impurities and a thickness which is approximately three times the thickness of conventional surfaces, which characteristics provide it with very good osseointegration properties.

  • Publication number: 20090035721
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly formed by a dental implant (1) formed by a threaded body (2) extending into a head (3) provided with a boss (4) which can be fitted in a cavity (13) made in a distal part (11) of a dental impression-taking device (10). The cavity (13) has projections (12) which can be inserted in recesses (14) of the boss (4), a tongue and groove coupling being generated upon joining in an aligned manner the two parts: a male part comprising said boss (4) preferably configured in the implant (1) and a female part formed by the cavity (13) adapted to such male part. Another alternative embodiment is to configure the male part in the dental impression-taking device (10). The projections (12) and recesses (14) are useful for retaining the joining with a simple clamping between the two parts, allowing to immediately take an impression in an extremely easy and quick manner.

  • Publication number: 20080288643
Abstract: A method of delivering a copy of a Session Initiation Protocol, SIP, message to each of a plurality of terminals in a multimedia communication system. The method comprises receiving the message at a first SIP exploder, grouping destination addresses defined for the SIP message according to their network domains, and for each group of destination addresses corresponding to a domain associated with a further SIP exploder, forwarding a single copy of the message to that exploder, the message containing all of the destination addresses of the group.

  • Patent number: 7450565
Abstract: A method of setting up a call between first and second nodes of a communication system when the call extends across a circuit switched access network and a packet switched backbone network interconnected by a Media Gateway. A control node obtains from a Home Subscriber Server, the identity of a Media Gateway Control Function controlling that Media Gateway which will terminate the call within the circuit switched access network. The first node calls an access number notified to it by the Media Gateway Control Function, and as part of the call setup procedure, the identity of the Media Gateway selected to terminate the call is communicated to the second node.
