  • Patent number: 11167507
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a rotor blade root assembly includes placing outer skin layer(s) onto a blade mold and arranging a root plate with a plurality of through holes adjacent to an end face of the blade mold. The method also includes placing a plurality of root inserts atop the outer skin layer(s) and abutting against the root plate, with each of the root inserts defining a fastener hole. The method also includes inserting a root fastener into each of the aligned through holes and longitudinal fastener holes. Moreover, the method includes placing inner skin layer(s) atop the root inserts. Further, the root plate may include at least one fluid hole configured therethrough to provide a non-gas tight root plate. Alternatively, at least one seal may be arranged between the root plate and the blade mold that forms a non-gas tight connection with either or both of the root plate or the blade mold during a vacuum infusion process.

  • Publication number: 20050024892
Abstract: The installation is constituted by means of the functional combination of a water curtain generator or orientable arc-generator and of an observation platform, said water curtain generator (4) having a structure that is based on a plurality of uniformly distributed sprayers with an ascending water projection, consequently obtaining a homogeneous water curtain; the observation platform consists of a circular pool (3) with an observation-ascension ramp (1) that surrounds it, the height that this ramp must reach at each point, shall depend on the geographic latitude; the observer shall be situated backwards to the Sun on the observation platform, the arc-generator perpendicular to the rays of the Sun at a set distance facing the observer, with which the primary rainbow (5) generated by the incidence of the Solar rays on the water drops, will be visualised.

  • Patent number: 5460758
Abstract: A three-dimensional object is modelled by solidifying superposed layers in such a manner that on an already solidified layer a following layer of initially liquid or powdery material is solidified by light action or the like in correspondence with the form of the object.
