    Abstract: Apparatus and methods digital audio bus reliability are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a digital audio system includes a plurality of audio devices connected by a first digital audio chain in a clockwise direction and a second digital audio chain in a counterclockwise direction. The first digital audio chain and the second digital audio chain run concurrently, and a controller selects which audio chain to operate at a given time for audio connectivity. For example, the controller can initially select the first digital audio chain to provide audio connectivity, but transition selection from the first digital audio chain to the second digital audio chain in response to detecting a node failure in the first digital audio chain. Thus, the system is tolerant to node failures while maintaining system connectivity.

    Abstract: A power supply apparatus, such as an on-line UPS, includes an AC/DC converter circuit having an input configured to be coupled to an AC source, a DC/AC converter circuit having an input coupled to an output of the AC/DC converter circuit by a DC link, and a bypass circuit operative to couple and decouple the output of the DC/AC converter circuit to and from the input of the AC/DC converter circuit. Power is transferred from the output of DC/AC converter circuit via the bypass circuit to conduct a test of the apparatus, such as a factory or field load test. For example, power may be circulated around a loop including the AC/DC converter circuit, the DC/AC converter circuit and the bypass circuit to conduct the test in order to test these components under load. A status of such components may be determined responsive to the test. In further embodiments, such components may be calibrated responsive to the test.

The computer program provides a single graphical control for user selection and adjustment of a plurality of parameters wherein each parameter is controlled based upon movement of a user input device. When the user input device is moved within a first region from a defined reference point, the parameter value is not incremented. When the user input device enters a second region the parameter value is incremented at a first rate. As the user input device is moved into a third region the parameter value is incremented at a second rate that is greater than the first rate.

    Abstract: A method and computer program product for adding additional functionality to a graphical control for use in a computer program. The method requires providing a graphical control that is displayable on a display device where the graphical control has at least one associated input or one associated output. Initially, the graphical control does not have an associated function. A user can then select a function from a list of functions to associate with the graphical control. The list of functions is associated with computer code for implementing the functions on a particular digital signal processor. The computer system determines whether a new input or output needs to be added to the graphical control based upon a selected function from the list of functions. The computer system also determines if the graphical control should be stacked or repeated. A plurality of functions may be associated with a single graphical control.
