    Abstract: The connecting device for connecting a cable fitted with a conductive shell to a case having a receiving portion, a contact portion, and a conductive joint. The contact portion includes electrical contacts, which are adapted to be joined with the receiving portion and with a printed circuit board. The conductive joint is crimped together with a shielding element of the case, between the receiving and contact portions, with the receiving portion allowing passage of the cable and fitted shell until it is located in abutment with the conductive joint.

    Abstract: An electrical contact assembly holder includes a body having a cable interface. A contact holder is attached to the body on a side opposite from the cable interface and is provided with a plurality of contacts arranged in rows. Each of the contacts has a base that secures the contact to the contact holder. At least one electrically conductive plate is disposed inside the body and extends substantially parallel to the contacts from the cable interface to the base of the contacts. The electrically conductive plate is electrically connected to the contacts and has recesses that receive the contacts to separate the rows of the contacts. A resilient tab extends from the electrically conductive plate to an outside of the electrical contact assembly holder. The resilient tab is electrically conductive and is configured to engage a shielding shell of a connector that receives the electrical contact assembly holder.

    Abstract: An electrical connector plug includes a plug body and a lever. The plug body mates with a socket. The lever is rotatably mounted on the plug body. The lever has a pair of socket locking members arranged on opposite sides of the plug body and a pair of elastic blades arranged on opposite sides of the plug body. The socket locking members are movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The blades bear against the plug body and bias the socket locking member permanently into the locked position. The lever further includes a base having a pair of arms extending there from. The arms are arranged on opposite sides of the plug body and rotatably mount the lever on the plug body. The blades are connected to the base through an extension extending there between.

    Abstract: A shielded cable connector comprises a terminal section and a cable section. The cable section comprises support shells mountable over shielding of the cable, and clamping half-shells that have ends engageable in grooves of the support members. The clamping half-shells are pivotable together to clamp a shielding braid that is reversely folded over a cylindrical portion of the support members. A retention ring is passed over the clamping half-shells to securely lock them to the terminal section. Assembly of the shield clamping portions is thus enabled after the terminals are mounted in the connector for a more cost-effective assembly procedure.
