  • Publication number: 20040154905
Abstract: The invention relates to a low-current switch (1) for vehicles, comprising a rotor (3; 3′) fixed to the anti-theft cylinder with regard to rotation and an electrical circuit. According to the invention, said electrical circuit is low current and with a variable resistance, depending on the angular position of the rotor (3; 3′), and provides an output voltage (Vx) which varies as a function of said resistance.

  • Publication number: 20030208433
Abstract: A system and a method to implement a three sectored business model that facilitates the trading of bandwidth as a commodity. One sector includes resource entities that require or generate the resource or commodity to be traded—bandwidth. Another sector includes bandwidth enabling entities that neutrally provide a pool of bandwidth that can be obtained from a variety of resource entities in a competitive manner. The last sector includes trading companies that interface with resource entities, bandwidth enabling entities, or traders, and facilitate the trading of the bandwidth based on the availability of the bandwidth from one or more bandwidth enabling entities or resource entities. A core engine operates as the central controller and data exchange source for facilitating the execution of trades between and for all entities, provisioning of connections, monitoring of the network, sharing and feedback of data to relative subsystems, and provide data control abilities to subscribing entities.

  • Patent number: 5818343
Abstract: This invention relates to a visual indication system for a field replaceable unit. The system includes two or more visual indicators on a face of the field replaceable unit (FRU), each indicator having a unique shape and being switchable between an on state and an off state. Diagnostic and administrative control within the FRU functions to monitor overall operation of the FRU and, under the control of Network Operations Systems, selectively turns on or off the visual indicators to reflect status of the FRU.
