  • Patent number: 7540430
Abstract: A method and system for determining the relationship between at least two indicia values that can be related to the same article is provided. The system includes a processor for providing a first indicia value, providing a second indicia value, manipulating the first indicia value and the second indicia value based on first rule to obtain a first score; manipulating the first indicia value and the second indicia value based on a second rule to obtain a second score; and concluding that the first indicia value and the second value are related to a same article.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 2005
Date of Patent: June 2, 2009
    Assignee: The Boeing Company
Inventors: David H. Jones, Mihael Ankerst
  • Patent number: 7512624
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and systems for identifying characteristics of time-related data associable with intervals are provided. A frame is associated with each of a number of intervals in a period. A first data characteristic is identified for data associable with the number of intervals in the period. A body of data is mined to identify a number of first significant intervals, the first significant intervals being intervals for which the first data characteristic is manifested in data associated with each of the first significant intervals. A first representation of the data indicative of the first characteristic is presented in the frame associated with each of the first significant intervals.

  • Publication number: 20050177540
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and systems for representing data associable with intervals are provided. A frame is associated with each of a number of intervals in a period. The frame is configured to display a maximum number of points. A first number of points representative of a first data quantity associable with each interval is determined, wherein a proportion of the first number of points to the maximum number of points represents a relative magnitude of the first data quantity. The first number of points is contiguously displayed in the frame for each of the intervals. Additional numbers of points suitably also are displayed to represent a relative magnitude of additional data quantities associable with each interval.
