Abstract: A system and methods for mapping price and location of tickets in an event venue are described. An interactive event venue seat map is provided by a network-based system that implements an online marketplace for tickets for upcoming events. The interactive event venue seat map enables sellers to view pricing information and transaction information for both sold and current event listings for any section or zone in an event venue. The interactive event venue seat map allows sellers to browse and click on sections to see sold and listed data for any section and zone in the event venue and to compare a proposed sale price to available pricing information of sold and current event listings in comparable sections. The personal profile includes a plurality of characteristics associated with the user and the evaluating includes comparing the plurality of characteristics to the results. The plurality of characteristics include at least one characteristic derived from observing the user's behavioral patterns over a period of time. The method further includes evaluating the results based on attributes of the user; ranking the results to generate a resultant that reflects a ranking of the results in order of likely meaningfulness to the user based on the evaluation; and communicating the resultant to the user.

The method includes step of servicing a request for content using at least one of a plurality of channels. To service the request, a first file path is accessed. The first file path points to generic non-customized information for a client device. A second of file path is accessed to service the request, wherein the second file path points to customized information, and wherein the second file path is accessed subsequent to the first file path. Aggregated content from a plurality channels is processed using a rendering engine, wherein the rendering engine is configured to output the aggregated content in a markup language tailored for the client device. The aggregated content is subsequently output in the second markup language to the client device.

Abstract: A method for providing extensible client address book functions to a plurality of clients via the Internet. The method includes a portal server receiving a request for address book functions from a client. In response to the request, a Java server page corresponding to the request is accessed. A plurality of tags contained within the Java server page are then accessed. The Java server page is subsequently processed using the tags, wherein the tags provide access to an address book server configured for providing the address book functions. The address book functions include contact information, phone number information, mailing information, and the like. The resulting processed Java server page is then transmitted back to the client. When requests from the client received, the Java server page corresponding to the request can be retrieved from a set of compiled Java server page classes.
