  • Publication number: 20210334833
Abstract: The transaction processing system and method provide an efficient and effective way to authorize promotion redemption. The transaction processing system may receive an indication of a request for authorization, the indication comprising a merchant identifier, an account number, and a transaction amount. The transaction processing system may determine whether the request for authorization corresponds to a promotion. The system may further transmit a transaction authorization based on whether the request for authorization corresponds to the promotion. The transaction processing system may cause a promotion database to designate the promotion as redeemed. In this fashion, the transaction processing system improves the consumer experience and minimizes the transaction time needed to identify and redeem a promotion.

  • Publication number: 20210272226
Abstract: A method of analyzing conditions pertaining to a shipping container includes determining container characteristics during a trip, which include at least one of a temperature within the container over time, a set point temperature, a number of times the container is opened, a change in contents within the container, or an amount of light within the container over time. Determined trip characteristics include at least one of a number of stops along the trip, an amount of time that passes during the trip, a number of day-night cycles during the trip, or a distance traveled by the container. Container relationships between the determined container characteristics and corresponding characteristics from selected previous trips are determined along with trip relationships between the determined trip characteristics and corresponding characteristics from the previous trips. An output includes information regarding the container relationships, trip relationships, container characteristics and trip characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20210192453
Abstract: A method of analyzing a supply chain includes determining a plurality of characteristics of each of a plurality of shipments; determining, for each trip, whether any of the characteristics indicates or corresponds to an identified issue that is one of a plurality of predetermined issues. For each identified issue, a probability is determined whether the identified issue will occur on a future shipment based on information regarding the determined characteristics from the shipment including the identified issue and other shipments having corresponding characteristics. A determination is made which of the plurality of predetermined issues are most likely to occur during a future shipment based on the determined probabilities.

  • Publication number: 20210171144
Abstract: Collision alert systems and methods for micromobility vehicles includes a proximity sensor, a speed sensor, a warning device, and a controller having a bypass mode and a warning mode. The controller compares the speed of the micromobility vehicle with a predetermined speed threshold, enters the bypass mode when the speed of the micromobility vehicle is less than the predetermined speed threshold, and enters the warning mode when the speed of the micromobility vehicle is greater than the predetermined speed threshold. The controller does not activate the warning device in the bypass mode. In the warning mode, calculates an estimated time until a potential collision with the object, compares the estimated time object with a predetermined time threshold, and generates a collision warning by activating the warning device in response to the estimated time until collision being less than the predetermined time threshold.

  • Publication number: 20210158284
Abstract: A system for advising a user regarding a potential shipment includes a user interface for receiving user input regarding a plurality of characteristics of the potential shipment. The user inputs at least one of the characteristics and the system suggests others of the characteristics. A processor determines whether the characteristics of the user input in combination indicate or correspond to at least one issue that is likely to occur during the shipment and, when there is at least one issue that is likely to occur during the shipment, determines an expected impact that the at least one issue will have on the shipment. An output provided to the user indicates the expected impact. Such issues and associated impacts may be determined multiple times while the user enters or selects different characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20210055858
Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and computer program product for initiating a command. The method includes causing a consumer input definition interface to be displayed on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer, wherein the consumer input definition interface includes an indication of a command. The method also includes, while the consumer input definition interface is displayed, receiving input definition data defining a consumer interaction by the consumer. The method also includes generating a compound consumer input based on the input definition data, and associating the compound consumer input with the command and the consumer. The method further includes storing the association between the compound consumer input and the command on a non-transitory storage device so that receipt of the compound consumer input from the consumer automatically initiates the command.

  • Patent number: 10387958
Abstract: The Self-Directed Style Box Portfolio Allocation Selection Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“PAS”) transforms portfolio allocation selection inputs via PAS components into trade orders and portfolio allocation confirmation outputs. The PAS determines a style box grid corresponding to current fund allocations of a fund portfolio of a client, and a fund listing corresponding to the style box grid. The PAS provides the style box grid and the fund listing to a display of a computing device of the client. The PAS receives an allocation selection command from the computing device of the client, the allocation selection command generated via at last one of the style box grid and the fund listing on the display. The PAS determines a portfolio rebalancing based on the allocation selection command, and updates to the style box grid and the fund listing according to the portfolio rebalancing.

  • Publication number: 20190243537
Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computing device, and computer program product for enabling indication of a relevance of an item. The method includes displaying a consumer interface on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer, the consumer interface rendering representations of one or more items. The method also includes receiving, at the computing device, an indication of consumer input with respect to at least one of the items. The method also includes, based on a determination that the consumer input corresponds to a relevance command, adjusting the display of the representations of the one or more items on the consumer interface. The method further includes, based on the relevance command, determining a relevance indication of a characteristic of the at least one item to the consumer.

  • Patent number: 10372738
Abstract: Providing a speculative search result for a search query prior to completion of the search query is described. In response to receiving a search query from a client node, a speculative search result is provided to the client node for the search query prior to receiving an indication from the client node that said search query is completely formed. The speculative search result may be displayed on the same web page on the client node as the search query, while the search query is being entered by the user. As the user further enters the search query, a new speculative search result may be provided to the user.
