  • Publication number: 20250339480
Abstract: The present application provides a novel means for treating ornithine transcarbamylase deficiency. More specifically, the present application provides a modified adeno-associated virus vector which expresses ornithine transcarbamylase so that an attack from a neutralizing antibody in blood is reduced and a gene is efficiently introduced into a liver of a living body (for example, human). The present application provides, for example, a modified adeno-associated virus vector which expresses omithine transcarbamylase, which contains a modified VP1 protein that contains, for example, an amino acid sequence obtained by substituting at least one of the amino acids at positions 472, 587 and 706 in the amino acid sequence of the VP1 protein with another amino acid, and which does not cross-react with a neutralizing antibody against AAV2.

  • Publication number: 20250241614
Abstract: A two-dimensional region of interest is set within a liver of a subject (S12). A first parameter group including a first attenuation coefficient is calculated based on first reception information obtained from the two-dimensional region of interest (S16). A second parameter group including a second attenuation coefficient is calculated based on second reception information obtained from the two-dimensional region of interest (S20). A parameter set including the first parameter group and the second parameter group is given to a mathematical model to calculate an estimated value of a fat fraction (S22).

  • Publication number: 20220265853
Abstract: The present application provides a modified adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector that efficiently transfers genes to a liver in a living body (human, for example) by reducing the attack from neutralizing antibodies in blood. More specifically, the present application provides an adeno-associated virus vector comprising a capsid protein having an amino acid sequence which has at least one of serine at position 472, serine at position 587, and asparagine at position 706 in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 or 3 substituted with another amino acid, and has 1 to 6 amino acid residues at other residue positions deleted, substituted or inserted. Said adeno-associated virus vector does not cross-react with a neutralizing antibody against AAV serotype 2 (AAV2).
