    Abstract: An x-ray system including an x-ray source generating an x-ray stream. The x-ray system also includes a processor in communication with the x-ray source and a user interface module. The user interface module is configured to generate a graphical user interface to control the x-ray system. The graphical user interface includes a first window and a second window. The x-ray system further includes a touch screen configured to display the graphical user interface. The touch screen is configured to generate an output in response to a swipe of the touch screen. The user interface module is configured to effect navigation between the first window and the second window in response to the swipe.
