Abstract: The present invention integrates a large selection of calling card-like features into one user friendly package. What is disclosed is a system and process for enabling PSTN-network enabled mobile communication devices to connect to international, domestic and Internet-based parties. The present invention permits voice calls all over the globe, and it takes advantage of the growing Internet-based voice communication protocols, including instant messaging services and voice over Internet protocol services. The present invention integrates with or can operate independent of the mobile device's pre-existing contact directory. The present invention can also automate voice connections between mobile phone users and VoIP-enabled messaging clients.
