  • Publication number: 20150107556
Abstract: A method and a system for control of at least one speed regulator (120), which regulator (120) regulates an engine system (130) in a vehicle (100) on the basis of a regulating algorithm so that an actual speed vact of said vehicle (100) is guided towards a target speed vdes. A change in the target speed vdes is identified. This is followed by determination of an absolute value of a memory term in the regulating algorithm and determination of a configuration of said absolute amount. If the configuration of the absolute value is not desirable, the influence of the regulating algorithm upon the engine system (130) is curtailed.

  • Publication number: 20150059692
Abstract: A speed regulator 120 and a method for operating it. The speed regulator guides an engine system 130 in a vehicle towards a target speed vdes, whereby the vehicle assumes an actual speed vact which describes a zeroing pattern towards the target speed vdes. Priming of the speed regulator 120 is effected on the basis of knowledge about a road section ahead of the vehicle, whereby the magnitude of at least one fluctuation in the zeroing pattern relative to the target speed vdes is reduced. A zeroing pattern with fewer overshoots and undershoots is thus achieved, resulting in reduced fuel consumption.

  • Publication number: 20140114553
Abstract: A method for running of a vehicle having a combustion engine which can selectively be connected to a driveshaft (104, 105) for propulsion of the vehicle, the vehicle can be run in a first mode (M1) with the engine connected to the driveshaft (104, 105) and in which fuel supply to the engine is substantially shut off, in a second mode (M2) with the engine disconnected from the driveshaft (104, 105) and a third mode like the first mode, but with the fuel supply not cut off. On a downgrade, determining whether running in the first mode (M1) will result in a speed increase, and then running in the second mode (M2) if running it in the first mode (M1) would cause a speed increase.

  • Publication number: 20140114542
Abstract: A method for running a vehicle (100) that includes a combustion engine (101) which can selectively be connected to a driveshaft (104, 105). When the vehicle (100) is in motion and is approaching a downgrade, determining whether the engine (101) can be disconnected from the driveshaft (104, 105) for at least a first period of time (T1), and disconnecting the driveshaft (104, 105) for at least the first period of time (T1); and the engine (101) also is switched off for the first period (T1). A system that performs the method and a vehicle that performs it are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140088847
Abstract: A method for running a vehicle (100) that includes a combustion engine (101) which can selectively be connected to a driveshaft (104, 105) to deliver driving force to the driveshaft (104, 105) for propulsion of the vehicle (100). When the vehicle (100) is in motion, determining whether the vehicle (100) is approaching a downgrade and, when it is approaching the downgrade, disconnecting the engine (101) from the driveshaft (104, 105) before the vehicle (100) reaches the downgrade. Also a system and a vehicle are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6795689
Abstract: A radio communications system includes a radio network control node coupled to a base station for communicating with mobile stations over a radio interface via the base station. The base station includes one or more cells, each cell having plural cell resources. A resource indication message sent from the base station to the radio network control node includes a cell resource identifier and indicates a status of a particular cell resource. The cell resource identifier is associated with a cell identifier in the resource indication message to eliminate any ambiguity at the radio network control node that might be created if the cell resource identifiers are not unique outside the context of each cell. Example implementations are described in a “service impacting” part of a Resource Status Indication Message (RSIM) in a third generation, wideband CDMA cellular radio communications system.
