Abstract: In a method for distribution and dispensing of beverages, a one-way system is used including a disposable and freestanding container blow moulded in one piece from a preform of plastics, and a tube structure having a tube to be inserted in the container and a closure cap. The thin-walled container is filled with beverage by means of the tube and then closed by the closure cap. This filled unit is distributed to the end user and connected to standard beverage dispensing means. After use, the empty container is collapsed and discarded along with the tube structure which also is made of plastics.

The valve comprises a first part (7) arranged to be inserted in an opening (10) of the container (1) and a second part (8) arranged within the first part (7), said first and second parts (7, 8) being rotatable in relation to each other for switching between the closed position and the open position of the valve. The closure (2) is made essentially of plastic material. A method of closing a flexible container (1) is also described.

Abstract: A container, especially a bottle, is made from a preform of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), where the preform has a mouth portion, a substantially conical upper portion extending from the mouth portion, and a cylindrical portion extending from the conical portion towards the bottom of the preform and having a substantially uniform wall thickness. When reshaping the preform, the shoulder of the container is formed substantially only of material which in the preform is located in the conical upper portion of the preform, while the cylindrical portion of the container is formed substantially only of material which in the preform is located in the cylindrical portion of the preform.
