Abstract: A device for generating display data comprises memory configured to store application data defining one or more display objects; an input interface configured to receive input; and a processor in communication with the memory and input interface and configured to output display data in accordance with the input. The processor is further configured to modify the application data according to a predetermined code to symbolise an operating status of the device in the display data; and to generate the display data including components which are representative of the display objects defined by the modified application data before outputting the display data.

Abstract: There is described a computer-implemented method comprising creating, in a communications log having a plurality of communication sources associated with the communications log, a database entry for each communication originating from any of the associated communication sources, each database entry comprising data representative of the respective communication. There is also described a computer-implemented method comprising displaying, in an interactive user interface on a display of an end-user electronic device, a visual representation of database entries contained in a communications log having a plurality of communication sources associated with the communications log, each database entry comprising data representative of a communication originating from any of the said associated communications source. Devices and computer-readable media comprising instructions implementing these methods are also described.

Abstract: A method, module and device for displaying graphical information on a screen are provided. In at least one embodiment, the method includes composing resulting image data from at least one application service, and transmitting the resulting image data to the screen. Further, in at least one embodiment, the composing of the resulting image data includes identifying items associated with each of the at least one application service, determining at least one item that is in a visible state, fetching information associated with the at least one item that is in a visible state, and calculating the resulting image data from the fetched information.
