  • Patent number: 11656055
Abstract: A slide cover plate (1) for the slide (2) of a striker-fired hand gun, closes the end portion (4) of the slide (2) opposite to the muzzle (3) and provides support for an end portion (11) of a spring striker unit (5) and/or an end portion (21) of a spring extractor unit (15) inside of the slide (2). The slide cover plate (1) received into a groove (7) provided in the end portion (4) of the slide (2), where the slide cover plate (1) is fixed in its position. The slide cover plate (1) comprises a backwardly protruding part having larger face area than the cross sectioned area of the slide (2) at its end portion (4).

  • Publication number: 20060151991
Abstract: Information carrier band label, especially for use with wine bottles, attached to the cylindrical neck portion (1) of the bottle, which label is made of information carrier sheet of paper or plastic of the similar format. A first end portion (3,3?) is attached to the cylindrical neck portion (1), and a second portion connecting to the first end portion (3,3?) and fixed around the neck portion (1) by a fixing means. The second portion of the band label is capable for carrying information on its both sides, and the band label (2,2?) has two positions, in the first position the band label banded around the neck portion (1) overlapping at least partially itself, beginning at the first end portion (3,3?), while in the second position the second portion is extending freely from the bottle.

  • Patent number: 5581919
Abstract: A device includes a heating body and a steam-chamber head which form the housing for a steam chamber. The inside walls of the heating body and of the steam-chamber head form an annular steam chamber. An impeller is disposed in the steam chamber as a rotary component. Via a feed supply line, water is supplied to the steam chamber in the vicinity of the vanes of the impeller. By way of the rapidly rotating impeller, the water is atomized into tiny droplets and reaches the hot wall of the steam chamber, where the droplets are vaporized. Good heat transmission and quick evaporation are made possible, i.e., a large amount of steam can reach the consuming appliance via a steam connection within a short time. The scale deposited can easily be removed.

  • Patent number: 5201408
Abstract: The housing for an electric snap action switch has a front section with a frame having a surface serving to abut the front side of a mounting plate, and a coaxial rear section with a surface facing away from the surface of the frame and serving to abut or to be placed adjacent one side of a circuit board. A nut mates with an externally threaded tubular portion of the front section to maintain the surface of the frame in abutment with the mounting plate. The two sections are separably coupled to each other by resilient male detent elements which are provided on the front section and extend into complementary female detent elements of the rear section. The housing acts as a distancing element between the mounting plate and the circuit board, and its rear section has a recess for a switching unit which is secured to the circuit board and can be actuated by movable parts which are installed in the front section. The rear section is secured to the circuit board by screws.

  • Patent number: 5079394
Abstract: The switching unit of a snap action electric switch employs a contact of the type called mainplate and having a circumferentially complete frame with a substantially diametrically extending blade. The frame has two lugs which flank the median portion of the blade and can be affixed to or simply abut the bottom wall of a cupped mounting member which further receives a pusher capable of moving the median portion of the mainplate from a first end position, at a distance from the bottom wall of the mounting member, toward and through a dead-center position whereupon the median portion snaps to a second end position in which it engages a contact at the bottom wall of the mounting member. The end portions of the blade merge tangentially into the adjacent concavoconvex sections of the frame. The useful life of the mainplate is longer than that of a conventional mainplate wherein four corner portions of the frame are affixed to the bottom wall of the mounting member.

  • Patent number: 4917579
Abstract: A transporter includes at least one elongated transporting element (1) which is made of a material capable of changing its volume in response to the application of voltage or magnetic fields thereacross. The transporting element, optionally together with a further transporting element or some other part of the transporter, defines an elongated transporting channel (7). Means are provided for generating fields in predetermined regions along the transporting element (1) and in a given order of sequence, such as to impart substantially peristaltic motion to the element. These means include at least three mutually adjacent conductors (3, 4, 5) which extend substantially helically in relation to the transporting element (1) and to which different phases of a multi-phase alternating voltage or alternating current source are applied.
