  • Patent number: 10521045
Abstract: A touch controller may include a measurement circuit, configured to receive a signal from an active channel in a proximity sensor, and to sample and hold the signal to measure the signal. The touch controller may include a driven shield buffer. The touch controller may include a voltage reference circuit configured to generate a divided voltage reference, provide the divided voltage reference to the measurement circuit, and drive the divided voltage reference through a switched circuit to the driven shield buffer to hold channels in the proximity sensor during measurement of the active channel.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 14, 2018
Date of Patent: December 31, 2019
    Assignee: MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED
Inventors: Ajay Kumar, Mikael Tual, Régis Vix
  • Patent number: 10466765
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a power management unit for controlling power in a microcontroller. The unit causes a first voltage to be provided in an active mode. In a sleep mode, the unit determines whether a supply voltage is less than an upper reference voltage and, if so, cause a second voltage greater than the first voltage to be provided. If not, the unit inhibits operation of voltage regulation of power supplied to the microcontroller. After inhibition of operation of voltage regulation, the unit determines whether the supply voltage has fallen to a lower reference voltage and, if so, applies the second voltage to the microcontroller.

  • Patent number: 7218167
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for generation of a reference electrical voltage. The device includes a first current generator outputting a current proportional to temperature. The first current generator comprises at least one operational amplifier and two branches in parallel, a first branch comprising a first current source and a first bipolar transistor, and a second branch comprising a second current source, a first resistance and a second bipolar transistor. A second current generator outputs a current conversely proportional to temperature. The device includes means of summating the currents so as to obtain a voltage independent of the said temperature, and means of reducing dependence of the current circulating in the said first branch on the value of the said first resistance. The reduction means comprises at least one second resistance with a non-adjustable value.

  • Publication number: 20060087788
Abstract: An electronic circuit is provided, which includes a dual supply having a first supply for a first portion of said circuit and a second supply for a second portion of said circuit. The electronic circuit further includes a protection circuit for protecting at least one transistor of said first portion. The protection circuit includes a first protection transistor of which the drain is connected to a connection between said first portion and said second portion and the gate is connected to said first power supply. A voltage reducer reduces the voltage between the drain and the gate of said first protection transistor.
