Further a method is provided comprising spraying the composition with a particle size in the range of from about 0.01 ?m to about 10 ?m, wherein the resulting film is in the range of from about 100 nm to about 500 nm after drying.

The oil-in water polysiloxane emulsion shows a viscosity of less than 7 Pa*s and a pH value from about 4 to about 8. The emulsion comprises about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of a non-volatile polysiloxane fluid and from about 0.003% to about 0.6% by weight of a rheology modifier, wherein less than 0.015 g of the non-volatile polysiloxane fluid are applied per gram hair.
