    Abstract: The present method and structure provides a device for leveling a spreadable material on a surface. The device includes an elongate screed having opposing positions connected to a first connecting member and a second connecting member on the opposing positions forming an assembly. The assembly is at least partially supported by a first skid and a second skid where the first and the second skids provide an offset of the screed from the surface.
