  • Patent number: 11750410
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of virtual private networks. More specifically, the present invention relates to a broadcast system for a virtual private network that broadcasts via a mesh network. Further, the system makes use of a broadcast source server which allocates data from data packets to specific nodes within a location-based regiment database. The database then uses an AI optimization system which further minimizes latency versus standard IP UDP broadcast systems.

  • Patent number: 9394104
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of discharging dry bulk material from a container. The method comprises the steps of applying vibration to the container in accordance with a predetermined vibration application routine. A resultant amplitude of vibration of the container resulting from the applied vibration is then monitored to facilitate the determination of a level of dry bulk material present in the container. In the event that the determined level of dry bulk material is above a predetermined level, the application of vibration to the container is ceased for a predetermined time interval. In the event that the determined level of dry bulk material is at or below a predetermined level, the application of vibration to the container is maintained in accordance with the predetermined vibration application routine.

  • Publication number: 20150260502
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of detecting the presence of a vehicle travelling along a path comprising the steps of; positioning a predetermined number of sensor elements long a predetermined portion of the path at predetermined intervals, each sensor element being configured to take a reading of a magnetic field present in their immediate proximity and to transmit a signal in accordance with said reading; receiving one or more transmitted signals from one or more of the predetermined number of sensor elements; processing the received transmitted signals to identify an active sensor element that transmitted the signal from the predetermined number of sensor elements; comparing the number of active sensor elements against a number of live sensor elements to determine whether a vehicle is travelling along the path; and activating a warning system upon determining that a vehicle is travelling along the path.

  • Patent number: 7002941
Abstract: Method and apparatus for synchronizing Fast Ethernet data packets to radio frames in a wireless metropolitan area network. A method of synchronizing Fast Ethernet data packets to radio frames includes receiving Fast Ethernet data packets, storing packet data in a packet buffer according to a first clock signal wherein the first clock signal is derived from the data packets, retrieving the packet data from the packet buffer according to a second clock signal wherein the second clock signal is asynchronous with the first clock signal, and formatting the retrieved packet data according to radio frames.

  • Patent number: 6985451
Abstract: A method and apparatus for baseband transmission between a top floor unit and an outdoor unit in a terminal for a wireless metropolitan area network. A terminal for a wireless link in a metropolitan area network includes an extender device (e.g. a top floor unit) for receiving data packets from a computer network coupled to the extender device and for forwarding the data packets, and a broadcast device (e.g. an outdoor unit) coupled to the extender device for receiving the data packets from the extender device according to baseband transmission and having a wireless transceiver for communicating the data packets over the wireless link. The terminal can include a cable coupled between the extender device and the broadcast device wherein the cable comprises a twisted pair of conductors for providing the data packets from the extender device to the broadcast device. The twisted pair of conductors can be a Category 5 twisted pair of conductors.
