  • Patent number: 10410279
Abstract: An electronic commerce (e-commerce) system is provided wherein: an intellectual property (IP) holder holding IP rights: authorizes one or more users to participate in an online process for distributing specified IP rights; conducts the online process; gives, upon termination of the online process, to a winning user a right to license the specified IP rights upon payment of a fee to the IP holder; provides the license to the specified IP rights to the winning user; organizes a selected community of licensees of the IP holder's IP rights; and invites the winning user to join the selected community of licensees of the IP holder's IP rights.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 24, 2015
Date of Patent: September 10, 2019
    Assignee: Sierra Industrial Group, LLC
    Inventor: Mike Hart
  • Publication number: 20180037368
Abstract: An apparatus includes a set of playing card cups, wherein at least one of the playing card cups comprises an image of a specific playing card configured to elegantly and easily identify the cup's user.

  • Publication number: 20160020844
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing wireless backhaul transport. One element of the system is a highly integrated radio transceiver, including an integrated antenna. The radio transceiver may operate in the millimeter wave range (between 30 GHz and 300 GHz), and due to the small wavelengths, it is possible to integrate the antenna, which would typically compromise a number of antenna elements, with the radio transceiver in a single integrated circuit (IC) package, commonly referred to as a system-in-package (SiP) and/or antenna-in-package (AiP) format. In some implementations, the band that a hardware module can exploit is the unlicensed 60 GHz band, which is generally available globally.

The system supports multi-hop point-to-multipoint or multi-hop mesh networking topologies. Low level MAC routing tables are built and maintained to enable efficient packet and frame forwarding.

  • Patent number: 8306098
Abstract: A method for displaying a plurality of error measures for an error-containing digitally modulated signal formed of a first and a second orthogonal component includes: determining for each digital value a value for an error-free version of the modulated signal; determining for each digital value a value for the error-containing version of the modulated signal; determining for each digital value a vector difference between the value for the error-containing version of the modulated signal and the respective value for the error-free version of the modulated signal; and displaying the vector differences on a two-dimensional display, each difference being displayed with respect to the respective value for the error-free version of the modulated signal, the display providing the plurality of error measures.

  • Patent number: 7778318
Abstract: A method for measuring amplifier gain compression in an OFDM signal includes measuring the signal as a function of time to provide an observed time magnitude, demodulating the OFDM signal to determine an estimate of the ideal signal constellation points, performing an inverse FFT on the estimate of the ideal constellation points to produce an estimated ideal time magnitude, comparing the observed time magnitude to the estimated ideal time magnitude to provide a measure of amplifier gain compression.
