Patent number: 9267280Abstract: Structural panels, components and assemblies are described. The structural panel system comprises one or more panels having interlocking profile features providing convenient assembly of multiple panels to provide pre-assembled panels or structures, or components that are easily shipped and assembled at a site to satisfy a variety of building requirements, transport requirements, structural panel requirements, and the like. An integrated raceway gutter system may be provided for evacuation of moisture in conjunction with end-caps having a coordinating structure. Insulation components may be positioned at an interior side of panels and may be separated from the capillary break by a moisture impervious and/or heat reflective layer. Cladding panels may be pre-assembled, along with additional structural building components, to provide pre-assembled structural insulative (and non-insulative) panels.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2013Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: VIREO LLCInventors: John Sawatzky, Herman Sawatzky, Mike Henry

Patent number: 6388521Abstract: A differential amplifier with adjustable offset includes a differential pair, a controller, an offset adjuster and an output stage. The differential pair and the output stage can be standard implementations such as, for example, a source-coupled PFETs and a folded-cascode output stage. The offset adjuster includes transistors that can be selectively enabled to form a composite transistor that is connected in parallel with at least one transistor of the differential pair to, in effect, increase the size of the transistor of the differential pair. The controller can reduce offset by causing the offset adjuster to increase the effective size of the appropriate transistor of the differential pair to compensate for device mismatch in the differential amplifier.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2000Date of Patent: May 14, 2002Assignee: National Semiconductor CorporationInventor: Paul Mike Henry

Patent number: 6075354Abstract: A precision voltage reference circuit for generating a constant reference voltage over a range of operating temperatures uses a bandgap voltage generator which is compensated with replicated currents fed back from the bandgap stage as control currents. These currents are attenuated and fed back in proper proportions to correct for bias conditions which would otherwise vary with temperature.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 1999Date of Patent: June 13, 2000Assignee: National Semiconductor CorporationInventors: Gregory J. Smith, Paul Mike Henry, Yinming Chen

Patent number: 5973487Abstract: An autocalibrated voltage reference includes a continuous time reference and a switched calibration reference where continuous time reference is dynamically adjusted to match the switched reference such that the temperature drift and long term drift of the continuous time reference is matched to the low temperature drift of the switched reference and further resulting in improvement of the long term drift of the switched reference and of the entire system.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1998Date of Patent: October 26, 1999Assignee: National Semiconductor CorporationInventor: Paul Mike Henry

Patent number: 5243719Abstract: A modular, retrofittable, and portable drain water recycle system, for installation into, and removal from, an existing host plumbing system having a host water supply, a sink, a tub or shower, a toilet, and a sewer. The modules include a drain fixture module, a system control module, and a storage tank module, all interconnectable. Gray water is collected from a tub, shower, or sink, by a drain fixture module, and is stored in a storage tank module for reuse in flushing a toilet. The drain fixture module and storage tank module are controlled by the system control module. Capacity can be altered by adding or removing storage tank modules. Different host systems can be accommodated by adding or removing drain fixture modules and system control modules. Drain fixture modules replace or are installed nearby existing P-traps, normally accessible. Storage tank modules and system control modules are of such shape and size as to fit under a typical sink inside the sink cabinet.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 1992Date of Patent: September 14, 1993Inventors: John R. McDonald, Mike Henry, Ronald J. Steele

Patent number: 4065725Abstract: An electronic gain control circuit and method are disclosed for providing gain control. The gain control circuit is adaptable for use with differential amplifiers to control the gain thereof and is suitable to be fabricated in monolithic integrated circuit form. The gain control circuit utilizes voltages generated by currents established through diodes to obtain a differential gain voltage to linearly vary the gain of the amplifier. In a preferred form, the amplifier consists of first and second differentially connected transistor pairs with each pair commonly connected to a respective collector of an input differential stage. A constant current source supplies a constant current through a first diode string and is coupled to a common node between the transistor pairs for providing a fixed voltage thereat.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1976Date of Patent: December 27, 1977Assignee: Motorola, Inc.Inventors: William Joseph Lillis, Paul Mike Henry
