  • Publication number: 20230068418
Abstract: A machine learning model classifies a distribution type of an input data set from a minimum number of initial samples of the input data set. A data anonymization protocol can be adjusted based on the classified distribution type. Additional samples of the input data set can be centrally collected in accordance with the data anonymization protocol as adjusted.

  • Patent number: 9247787
Abstract: A male/female connection system is disclosed. The system is specifically designed as a novel way of attaching straps to cameras. The device includes a male attachment anchor with an overmolded loop, as well as a female housing inclusive of a spring to lock the male and the female together. The anchor connects to a camera at the neck strap loops using a cow hitch knot. The anchor connects to the housing by entering an open end, and being pulled through to an end where it is strapped. A strap connects to the housing by way of a loop being sewn around it.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 25, 2013
Date of Patent: February 2, 2016
    Assignee: Peak Design, LLC

  • Patent number: 8737007
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided related to magnetic recording tape. Respective voltage sources are coupled to respective magnetic head components of a tape recording apparatus. Circuitry controls each voltage source independently in accordance with identity information for a magnetic tape, relative humidity within the tape recording apparatus, or other factors. Chemical migration from the tape, and/or plating or erosion of elements of the tape recording apparatus are substantially reduced or eliminated according to the present teachings.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 28, 2012
Date of Patent: May 27, 2014
Assignees: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P., Quantum Corporation

  • Patent number: 8553353
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided related to magnetic recording tape. One or more ion emitters are disposed in non-contacting proximity to a passing recording tape. Static electric charges born on the tape are neutralized prior to passing the tape in contact with a read-write head. Migration of chemical constituency from the tape to the head is prevented or significantly reduced with a corresponding elimination or reduction of related problems.
