One of the methods includes receiving, by a social messaging platform, an indication of a message by a user of client software on a first user device; receiving, from the first user device, a first location of the first user device; providing, to the first user device, one or more topics that are specific to an event temporally associated with the first location; receiving, the message for posting on the social messaging platform, the message including (i) a topic selected from the one or more topics, and (ii) user selected media content; and adding the message to one or more streams of the social messaging platform.

Abstract: A method to retrieve and display technical data for an industrial device supervised by a computer program for control, configuration or condition monitoring in an industrial or commercial plant. The method can use a substantially static and easily visible large sized display member to provide a graphical user interface for retrieving data about, and/or controlling, one or more industrial devices. A computing device or mobile computing device send a copy of its graphical user interface to the large display for ease of information retrieval and access.

Abstract: A mobile electronic device that can be used in at least two different orientations. The mobile electronic device comprises a processor, an orientation sensor, and at least two competing input devices. The processor is configured to enable and disable the competing input devices in accordance with the orientation of the mobile electronic device as detected by the orientation sensor. Alternatively, the processor is configured to assign different control functions to the competing input devices and possibly to interchange these control functions in response to a signal from the orientation sensor. The device may have a scrollbar that is an integral part of a keypad. The device may have a scrollbar that is wrapped around a corner of the device. Abstract: A touchpad based on polar coordinates, in which the angular position and the radial position are transformed into a one-dimensional signal. The progressiveness of the relation between the angular position and the one-dimensional signal is a function of the radial position. The touchpad may have two discrete curved sections with different input sensitivity. The touchpad may also be provided with a central select key.

Abstract: A mobile communication terminal having a phonebook and a method of managing phonebook entries having a processor and a memory having at least one phonebook entry and at least one metadata entry stored therein. The method allows the user to sort the phonebook entries in accordance with the metadata associated with the therewith. The phonebook entries can be shown/listed in a sorted order. The terminal may update the metadata via the mobile network. The metadata may include time zone information and the terminal may show time zone information together with content detail information on a display of the terminal.
