  • Publication number: 20240152103
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for performing an electric grid time synchronization process. The process can include: receiving, from a GPS transceiver of a first device coupled to an electric power grid, data including a GPS time reference; formatting the GPS time reference into a data packet, where the data packet has a particular format compatible with power line communication; and broadcasting, by the first device and using power line communications, the data packet to a plurality of electric grid components.

  • Publication number: 20240154782
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for performing electric grid timing coordination. The method can include: receiving, by a first electric grid device, a message from a second electric grid device, the message including a first clock value associated with an oscillator of the second electric grid device; determining, based on the first clock value, a second-first device time offset between the second electric grid device and the first electric grid device; and storing the second-first device time offset in a time offset table stored at the first electric grid device.

  • Publication number: 20240070352
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for selecting, from a unified electrical power grid model, a first proper subset of elements of the model. A first electrical grid simulation model is selected. A second, differing proper subset of elements of the model are selected. A second electrical grid simulation model that differs from the first electrical grid simulation model is selected. A set of boundary conditions common to the first electrical grid simulation model and the second electrical grid simulation model are determined. Operation of the electrical power grid is simulated, and can include (i) simulating, using the first electrical grid simulation model, the first proper subset of elements of the unified model, and the set of boundary conditions; and (ii) simulating, using the second electrical grid simulation model and the second proper subset of elements of the unified model, and the set of boundary conditions.

  • Publication number: 20170364636
Abstract: A method for conducting questionnaire survey is implemented by a server coupled to a user equipment (UE). The method includes the steps of: transmitting a first questionnaire to the UE; receiving a user answer for a specific question of the first questionnaire from the UE; determining whether to transmit to the UE a second questionnaire that is associated with an issue raised in the specific question according to the user answer therefor and at least one of a physiological parameter associated with a user, an ambient parameter, or personal information of the user; and when the determination is affirmative, transmitting the second questionnaire to the UE.

  • Publication number: 20080117633
Abstract: An electrical candle has an inner bracket, a minor electrical apparatus, a major electrical apparatus and a connection tube electrically connecting the major electrical apparatus with the minor electrical apparatus. The inner bracket has an open bottom and a top having an opening defined through the top. The minor electrical apparatus connects to the inner bracket and has a base combined with the inner bracket, a lamp bulb protruding from the opening of the top and a simulated snuff covering the lamp bulb. The major electrical apparatus is mounted in the inner bracket and has a main circuit, a media player three decoded circuit to broadcast music and a base. The electrical candle is not dangerous and can emit light like a real candle and broadcast music at the same time. Thus, it is convenient for people.
