  • Patent number: 11944080
Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to preventing or lessening ice in remote water tanks. The remote water tanks can include a body at least partially defining a chamber that receives a liquid and having an open top portion that provides one or more animals access to the liquid. Further, a heat exchanger can be at least partially received within the chamber, and can receive a thermal transfer fluid that is circulated therethrough to maintain a temperature of the liquid in the chamber. Also, an external heat collector can be in fluid communication with the heat exchanger to transfer solar or other heat to the thermal transfer fluid as the thermal transfer fluid is circulated therethrough.

  • Patent number: 9879510
Abstract: A pump and control system for distributing a fluid from a source location to one or more remote locations. At least one of the remote locations can be at an elevation higher than that of the source location. The system may have a power source, a controller, and one or more fluid storage vessels. The system also may have a distribution piping and one or more monitoring devices to sense fluid pressure corresponding to fluid fill levels in the one or more fluid storage vessels. The system additionally can have a pump that automatically provides fluid to the one or more fluid storage vessels at the remote locations through the distribution piping.

  • Publication number: 20150354326
Abstract: A well pumping and control system capable of operating in a wide range of ambient conditions is described. The system automatically maintains water level in a water storage vessel. By operating to pump water only for a preset amount of time and only in response to a measured drop in water pressure of a preset amount or more, the system reduces labor, fuel, and maintenance operating costs to the owner, improves well pumping reliability and production, reduces power consumption and emissions, and conserves ground water. In another aspect, the system can be adapted to monitor water pressure that is developed on the water distribution piping and storage tank water level, even for a distant storage tank. The pump can deliver water to the distant storage tank for a preset time. Once the time has expired, the pump can shut off automatically.

  • Patent number: 8967250
Abstract: A well pumping and control system that is capable of operating in a wide range of ambient conditions. The system automatically maintains fluid level in a fluid storage vessel, while protecting the pump and generator from operating in conditions outside preset operating parameters to prevent premature failure and reduce repair. By operating to pump fluid only when preset operating conditions exist, e.g. low fluid level, ambient temperature, etc., the system reduces labor, fuel, and maintenance operating costs to the owner, improves well pumping reliability and production, reduces generator fuel consumption, reduces emissions, and conserves ground water or liquid hydrocarbons, whichever is being pumped into the fluid storage vessel by the system.

  • Patent number: 8820404
Abstract: A well watchman pumping and control system that is capable of operating in a wide range of ambient conditions. The system automatically maintains water level in a water storage vessel, while protecting the pump and generator from operating in conditions outside preset operating parameters to prevent premature failure and reduce repair. By operating to pump water only when preset operating conditions exist, e.g. low water level, ambient temperature, etc., the system reduces labor, fuel, and maintenance operating costs to the owner, improves well pumping reliability and production, reduces generator fuel consumption, reduces emissions, and conserves ground water.
