  • Patent number: 11597463
Abstract: An electric-powered personal transport vehicle with a board to support a weight of a user and one or more wheels driven by one or more electric motors is discussed. The electric motors are powered by one or more batteries. A throttle has a thumb wheel speed controller on a handlebar. The thumb wheel speed controller has a horizontal manipulation between accelerate, neutral, and brake input positions such that pressing the thumbwheel speed controller in a vertical direction will not result in an unintentional acceleration or braking.

Date of Patent: March 7, 2023
    Assignee: NEUTRON HOLDINGS, INC.
Inventors: John Ulmen, Sean Michael Flanigan, Mark Frykman, Levi Jacob Price, Oliver Riihiluoma, Barrett Heyneman, Jason Bluhm, Mike McHugh, Jeff Russakow, Jukka Rautiainen, Noriko Morimoto, Julian Farnam
  • Patent number: 11266900
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are discussed for an electric powered personal transportation vehicle with electric motors powered by one or more batteries. A set of universal battery mounting hole locations and a reserved space for one or more battery housings exist on a board for the personal transportation vehicle. The reserved space on the board for the one or more battery housings that house one or more battery packs is set to not interfere with an operation of the motors or the wheels. A first battery pack containing the one or more batteries differs in at least one of i) a different amp-hour capacity, ii) a different length, width, or height, and iii) a different shape than another battery pack designed to be physically contained in the one or more battery housings and electrically connect with corresponding electrical connections in the one or more battery housings.

  • Publication number: 20140019063
Abstract: A system includes a pressure sensor and circuitry to collect information from the pressure sensor and transmit the information to a server. The pressure sensor and circuitry are formed as an integrated node adapted to be placed to sense pressure in the foot of an animal. The server processes the information to one or more devices.

  • Patent number: 7194149
Abstract: A system and method for compressing and storing image data. The system and method creates for each of a plurality of original images a plurality of resultant images by altering the content of each of the plurality of original images a corresponding plurality of different ways. Each of the resultant images is then compressed. From the compressed, resultant images created from each of the plurality of original images one resultant image is selected. Each of the selected one of the plurality of resultant images is then stored such that each of the selected one of the plurality of resultant images is retrievable to be displayed as a representation of its corresponding original image.
