  • Patent number: 9250322
Abstract: A signal processor performs a signal transform of a signal, and comprises a signal demodulator for demodulating said signal by a first chirp signal having a first chirp rate to obtain a reduced bandwidth chirped signal, a filter for filtering the reduced bandwidth chirped signal and delaying the reduced bandwidth chirped signal by an interval proportional to a reciprocal of said first chirp rate, a signal modulator for modulating said filtered signal by a second chirp signal having a second chirp rate to obtain an increased bandwidth chirped signal and to provide a time domain output spectrum of said signal, and wherein each of said first chirp signal and said second chirp signal is a complex signal representing a linear frequency modulated chirp.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20090159059
Abstract: A paintball gun is made with a control circuit controlling the operation of the gun. The control circuit is provided substantially as a circuit board installed through an opening of the gun housing. The circuit board performs some novel functions including storing and replaying sound clips from stored digital files, The sound clips could include instructions to the user, music, audible indications of various operations and/or parameters related to the operation of the paintball gun, and so on.

  • Publication number: 20090159060
Abstract: A paintball gun is made with a control circuit controlling the operation of the gun. The control circuit is provided substantially as a stiff circuit board installed through an opening of the gun housing. The circuit board performs some novel functions including storing and replaying sound clips from stored digital files, keeping track of the number of paintballs left and providing visual indications to a user. A button is provided on the gun handle and in alignment with a control switch on the printed circuit board. Pushing the button causes the activation of the control switch. The button may be implemented as a portion of the handle that is flexible. When this portion is depressed, it flexes inward to activate the control switch.

  • Publication number: 20090159064
Abstract: A paintball gun is made with a control circuit controlling the operation of the gun. The control circuit is provided substantially as a circuit board installed through an opening of the gun housing. The circuit board performs several functions including storing and replaying sound clips from stored digital files, keeping track of the number of paintballs left and providing visual indications to a user. A flexible printed circuit board is provided to connect either a switch or an indicator on the handle, with conductors on the board connecting the switch or indicator to an electronic circuit mounted on a standard stiff printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20090159061
Abstract: A paintball gun is made with a control circuit controlling the operation of the gun. The control circuit performs some novel functions including counting the number of paintballs that have been ejected and using this information, generating an output signal indicative of the number of paintballs left in a magazine.
