  • Publication number: 20220349829
Abstract: Sensor systems, and flow cells for use with them, which can provide for a universal sensor housing. The senor housing includes a first section which is designed to remain statically in position and a selectable sensor head that may be swapped out as necessary. The specific head is selected based on the types of measurement to be performed at the sensor location and the sensor head can integrate with the housing so only a single wire connection needs to be made to obtain all data from the housing.

  • Patent number: 11406936
Abstract: A system for scrubbing and monitoring H2S includes: a sample inlet valve that controls an input stream of the hydrocarbon gas from the gas canister; a first scrubber that removes a first portion of H2S from the input stream and that outputs a first stream with less H2S than the input stream; a second scrubber that removes a second portion of H2S from the first stream and that outputs a second stream with less H2S than the first stream; a H2S converter that converts all remaining H2S in the second stream into a di-ketone and that outputs an output stream with a concentration of the di-ketone; an optical detector that measures the concentration of the di-ketone in the output stream; and a processor that determines a concentration of H2S in the second stream based on the concentration of the di-ketone in the output stream.

  • Publication number: 20220107261
Abstract: A flow cell and flow cell system which allows for calibration of an attached sensor to be performed in place. Specifically, the ability to utilize standard addition techniques of calibration without the need to take a test sample from the process stream or remove the sensor from operating on the flow cell.

  • Publication number: 20220097039
Abstract: A mixing system that employs a pump with a highly sensitive means of adding and controlling volumes of single or multiple reagents to a controllable volume of a sample, mixing said samples and reagents, providing the means of employing a specific measurement tool on some portion of the mixed sample, and finally reporting the results to a final control element automatically under industrial conditions and often essentially in situ to fluid flows such as fluid moving through a pipeline or industrial process.

  • Publication number: 20200386689
Abstract: An automated system which can perform automated sample extraction from a process stream, automated addition of reagents or other materials to the sample, automated analysis on the sample, and then provide output on the results to process control equipment so that parameters of the processing could be altered in response to the testing. This can also allow for a more generally continuous measurement or at least a fast batch process which can be effectively endlessly repeated.
