  • Patent number: 10255788
Abstract: An electrical safety analyzer, including: a transparent outer casing; at least one light emitting diode (LED) disposed within the transparent outer casing; a processor and addressable memory, where the processor is configured to: run one or more tests for electrical safety; determine a pass or fail condition for each test; and illuminate the at least one LED based on the determined condition, where an illumination of the at least one LED illuminates the transparent outer casing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 19, 2018
Date of Patent: April 9, 2019
    Assignee: PRONK TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Inventors: Gregory Randolph Alkire, Mike Rosenman, Karl A. Ruiter

  • Patent number: 7666151
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods provide passive patient monitoring of such parameters as body motion, body position, respiratory rate and/or heart rate. Passive monitoring generally involves a sensor device having at least two piezoelectric sensors, provided on a surface, such as a bed, chair, operating table or the like, so that a patient may be coupled with the device by simply allowing the patient to lie, sit, lean, stand on or wear the surface. In one embodiment, multiple patients in a general care area of a hospital may be continuously monitored via multiple passive monitoring devices. If a patient fails to meet one or more predefined threshold criteria or has a negative physiological trend, the system may activate an alarm.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 20, 2002
Date of Patent: February 23, 2010
    Assignee: Hoana Medical, Inc.
Inventors: Patrick K. Sullivan, Ken C. K. Cheung, Christopher J. Sullivan, Paul Pernambuco-Wise, Scott Christensen, Mike Rosenman
