    Abstract: A power supply device for a crucible heater includes a heating circuit having an input terminal, and at least two power supply modules having each an output terminal. The output terminals of at least two power supply modules are connected in parallel to the input terminal of the heating circuit. A process control device controls the at least two power supply modules. Optionally, a heating control device can be provided instead of the process control device for controlling the power supply modules.
