Publication number: 20240096457Abstract: A computer system for generating an insurance policy for a user includes a processor and a non-transitory, tangible, computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including: (i) receiving, from a wearable electronic user device, biometric data associated with a user; (ii) analyzing, based upon a plurality of rules, the biometric data; (iii) determining a health score associated with the user, based in part upon the analysis of the biometric data, wherein the health score represents a likelihood that the user will maintain a level of health for a predefined period of time; (iv) retrieving terms and conditions for an insurance policy from a database based upon the health score; and (v) generating, based upon the determining, an insurance policy for the user based upon the terms and conditions.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Jeremy Garavaglia, John Larson, Jovonni Lee Pharr, Kip Wilson, Nolan White, Achyutha Srinivas Mudunuri, Wallace Taylor, Mike Aviles

Patent number: 11878735Abstract: A fender for a lawn mower having tire and wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2022Date of Patent: January 23, 2024Inventor: Mike Taylor

Publication number: 20230145048Abstract: In one or more implementations, body features of a subject can be tracked and a pose estimation produced using an unconstrained video sequence. The video sequence constitutes a physical record of the body features of the subject. A set of 2D coordinates corresponding to the body features of the subject can be received from a first neural network and 2D Keypoints are detected and transmitted to a second neural network. The second neural network can return corresponding depth estimation values, which can be processed to generate a set of 3D coordinates that correspond to the body features of the subject in camera space. Furthermore, one or more non-linear optimizations can be applied to fit a predetermined skeleton to the generate 3D Keypoints, and produce the pose estimation corresponding to the body features of the subject.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2022Publication date: May 11, 2023Inventors: Kevin Walker, Mike Rogers, Chris Bowles, Matthew Oakes, Mike Taylor, Vincent Drouard

Patent number: 10949649Abstract: A method for locating and tracking facial features in an unconstrained video sequence includes: in a face-detecting process, delineating, with region-bounding coordinates, the face of the subject within an image selected from the sequence; detecting, in the selected image, a small set of landmarks, corresponding to the face of the subject, using a convolutional neural network, trained to take as input an image region corresponding to the face of the—subject and to return a set of coordinates at computational speeds approximating real time; projectively fitting a three-dimensional character model to the detected landmarks, and using the fitted model to estimate physical locations of additional landmarks, so as to provide a complete hypothesized set of facial landmarks; and in a feature tracker process, updating the hypothesized set of facial landmarks to improve convergence between predicted feature locations and their actual physical locations based on data sampled from the selected image.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2019Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: Image Metrics, Ltd.Inventors: Kevin Walker, Mike Rogers, Mike Taylor, Matthew Oakes, Vincent Drouard, Carl Moore

Publication number: 20180060325Abstract: Users are most likely to search for documents “around” them, such as documents which are created, read, or modified by other users they work closely or collaborate with, documents on sites the user frequents, and/or documents trending around them, in addition to documents they've created or interacted with themselves. Therefore, embodiments are directed to relevance ranking of query results based on external context. A search service may receive a query and an external context list, determine a relevance value for each entry in the external context list, and perform the query, where a search index comprising items may be returned in response to performance of the query. The search service may then match entries in the external context list against associated properties of the items, compute a score for the items based on the matching, and rank results of the query based on the score computed for the items.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2016Publication date: March 1, 2018Applicant: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Mike Taylor, Torbjorn Helvik, Oystein Fledsberg, Lars Hagen
