    Abstract: Play of a game is controlled using an indicator card. The indicator card is optionally the size and shape of a playing card and may include indicia thereon. The indicator card is inserted into a randomized stack of playing cards. From the top of the stack to the indicator card, play is conducted in conventional fashion while permitting additional players to join. When the indicator card is reached, the indicator card is optionally displayed and play is conducted in conventional fashion without permitting additional players to join.

    Abstract: An improved insurance wager for Blackjack includes defining an insurance outcome set containing two or more predetermined holdings and an insurance payout associated with each holding. Each player makes an initial wager and the Blackjack game is dealt in a fashion known in the art. The insurance wager is available if the dealer's face-up card has a predetermined value, optionally ten. After each player completes his hand or busts, the dealer forms a final hand by hitting or standing according to the conventional rules of Blackjack. If the dealer's final hand is within the insurance outcome set, remaining players are rewarded based on the player's insurance wager without regard to the player's final hand. Otherwise, the player loses the insurance wager.

    Abstract: A method for playing a game in which players play against a casino using a standard fifty two card deck plus at least one joker, which acts as a wild card. In an alternate embodiment, the game may be played on an electronic device and electronic representations of the cards may be used. Each player makes a base wager and, optionally, a bonus wager. Five cards are dealt to each player and to the dealer. Any player having a predetermined automatic winning holding is immediately rewarded and excluded from further participation in the game except to resolve any bonus wager. Each player not having an automatic winning holding has the option to discard and replace a single card. The dealer hand is revealed the dealer receives a single additional card. In turn, each player's hand is revealed. Each base wager is resolved by comparing the poker ranking of the player's hand to the poker ranking of the casino hand.

    Abstract: A method for providing a supplemental wager for a base game, such as Pai Gow Poker, in which a quantity of card are dealt to a banker and player and the dealt cards are arranged into at least two sub-hands. Each player places a supplemental wager. Should a preselected sub-hand of the player outranks the corresponding banker sub-hand, the player wins the supplemental wager. If, however, a preselected sub-hand of the banker outranks the corresponding sub-hand of the player, the player loses the supplemental wager. If the banker and player preselected sub-hands are tied, the tie is resolved in a pre-established fashion so that either the player or the banker wins.

    Abstract: An improved method of playing a game of Keno in which a first quantity of Keno numbers is selected from a fixed set of Keno numbers uses a Keno board. The Keno board is divided into at least two sections having at least a second quantity of Keno numbers in each section. A player wagers by selecting one of the sections and, optionally, designating a third quantity. A set of numbers is randomly selected from the Keno numbers and a reward is issued to a player if the section wagered upon contains at least a third quantity of the selected Keno numbers. Optionally, the size of the reward varies directly with the ratio of the third quantity to the second quantity.
