    Abstract: A multi-spindle machine system includes a pick-off attachment. The pick-off attachment enables a more compact and stronger pick-off spindle. The shorter pick-off spindle is able to pick off longer work pieces. High speed bearings and oil lubrication enable the pick-off attachment to perform additional back machining functions. Other features include a dovetail spindle housing support associated with a slip-inducing composite material, an over-tension stop indicator, and an increased pick off position to cam position ratio.
