Abstract: The present invention provides an arbitrage control system for two or more available power sources (106, 108) that enables the automatic or manual control of one or more multi-source systems (202) to take advantage of price differentials across commodities, locations and/or time. The present invention selects a power source for a device or delivery point (110) from two or more available power sources (106, 108) by analyzing market and operational data (406). A power source (106 or 108) for the device or delivery point (110) is then selected from the two or more available power sources (106, 108) based on a set of financial parameters (408). If the device or delivery point (110) is not already connected to the selected power source, one or more signals are sent (418) to switch the device or delivery point (110) to the selected power source. The arbitrage controller (102) includes a user interface (300), market interface (302), multi-source interface (304), database (306) and processor (308).

Abstract: A system for installing a device in a suspended ceiling grid includes a device housing, and a frame adapted to be received in the suspended ceiling grid. The device housing is received in an aperture defined by the frame. A plurality of structures releasably secures the device housing to the frame. Embodiments of the invention provide simpler and more effective methods and systems for mounting ceiling mounted devices above a suspended ceiling such that the device can be installed in a minimal amount of time by one person.

Abstract: A log charger system employs scan data to precisely orient a log rotationally prior to presenting the log to a carriage for sawing operations or the like. Once the log is rotated to the desired orientation, a V-shaped member picks the log up from underneath and moves it to the carriage. The V-shaped member has a lower-able or minimize-able side profile to enable it to retract away from the log, leaving it clamped to the carriage for further operations.

The present invention then controls the one or more electricity transfer devices and one or more electricity sources so that the second electricity flow is less than or equal to a first value and the first electricity flow is provided at the first network connection. In addition, the present invention provides a system for providing a first electricity flow.at a first network connection using a second electricity flow at a second network connection.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward a method of doing business, wherein a first entity, referred to as the Secondary Guarantor, engages in the business of providing and evaluating financial guarantees by way of a joint venture or other arrangement with a second entity, hereafter referred to as the Primary Guarantor, authorized by the appropriate authorities to engage in the writing of financial guarantees. These entities combine to form the "guarantor" or the "company". The guarantee is preferably sold by the secondary guarantor entity to an owner of a product or commodity, and guarantees that the owner will obtain a remuneration subsidy or "settlement" for the product or commodity at the time of sale, should the sale price be below the cost to produce the product or commodity.
