    Abstract: Improved modeling and imaging systems and methods for designing scaffolding systems for a project site. A multi-dimensional spatial model of the project site is obtained. This model can be created using a laser scanner that collects point-cloud data. Software is used to design a scaffolding system based on the project-site model, integrate/apply the scaffolding design to the project-site model to generate an output combination scaffold design and project-site model, and improve the scaffolding design based on a review of the combination model. In typical embodiments, the system and method are also capable of creating cost estimates, materials lists, georeferenced tags, and building plans for the improved scaffolding design.
