    Abstract: A skeletal system comprising at least two bones and soft tissue. The soft tissue comprises a body and at least two protrusions. Each of the at least two protrusions have an end. At least one of the ends is attached to a first bone and at least one of the ends is attached to a second bone. The soft tissue further comprises a core having a first elasticity and a cladding having a second elasticity. The first elasticity is substantially less than the second elasticity, such that the core substantially limits the elongation of the cladding.
