Patent number: 10395200Abstract: A control computer implements a multi-stage process to automatically repair errors in a policy using selectable, pluggable repair modules. In the first stage, the control computer identifies the errors that caused the policies to fail the validation process, and associates the errors with corresponding repair modules. The repair modules comprise information that is needed to correct or repair the errors. In the second stage, the control computer generates commands for correcting the errors based on the information in the repair modules. In a third stage, the control computer applies the commands to the policies that failed the validation process to correct the errors.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2016Date of Patent: August 27, 2019Assignee: CA, Inc.Inventors: Mikhail Gurevich, Stephan Erickson, William Cohen, Uzi Cohen

Publication number: 20120224060Abstract: Driver distraction is reduced by providing information only when necessary to assist the driver, and in a visually pleasing manner. Obstacles such as other vehicles, pedestrians, and road defects are detected based on analysis of image data from a forward-facing camera system. An internal camera images the driver to determine a line of sight. Navigational information, such as a line with an arrow, is displayed on a windshield so that it appears to overlay and follow the road along the line of sight. Brightness of the information may be adjusted to correct for lighting conditions, so that the overlay will appear brighter during daylight hours and dimmer during the night. A full augmented reality is modeled and navigational hints are provided accordingly, so that the navigational information indicates how to avoid obstacles by directing the driver around them. Obstacles also may be visually highlighted.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2012Publication date: September 6, 2012Applicant: INTEGRATED NIGHT VISION SYSTEMS INC.Inventors: Mikhail Gurevich, Luis Carrasco, Wesley Griswold

Patent number: 8200784Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a system and method for transferring data between an unstructured data source and a structured destination. In one embodiment, graphical representations of a unstructured data source and a structured destination are presented to a user via a graphical user interface of a computer. Using the graphical user interface, the user can draw lines between the graphical representations to indicate how data from the unstructured data source should be associated with and transferred to the structured destination. The graphical representation of the unstructured data source may be generated using data extracted from a web based document. This data extraction can be done recursively and at least partially in parallel with retrieving files associated with hyperlinks within the web based document.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2009Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Assignee: Open Text S.A.Inventors: Andrew Groh, Rob Surratt, Marc Harris, Mikhail Gurevich

Patent number: 7878268Abstract: A system for performing a drilling operation for an oilfield. The system includes a drilling system for advancing a drilling tool into a subterranean formation, a repository storing multiple survey factors for at least one wellsite of the oilfield and multiple drilling factors corresponding to at least one section of a planned trajectory of the at least one wellsite, and a processor and memory storing instructions when executed by the processor. The instructions include functionality to configure a drilling model for each of the at least one wellsite based on the plurality of survey factors and the plurality of drilling factors and selectively adjust the drilling model with respect to a plurality of drilling scenarios to generate an optimal drilling plan.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2008Date of Patent: February 1, 2011Assignee: Schlumberger Technology CorporationInventors: Clinton Chapman, Chunling Gu Coffman, Yongdong Zeng, Mikhail Gurevich

Patent number: 7600001Abstract: A system and method for transferring data between an unstructured data source and a structured destination. In one embodiment, data is transferred by extracting data from an unstructured data source, creating a graphical representation of the hierarchy of data within the unstructured data source, and graphical representation of the destination. Data is then transferred from the source to the destination based upon graphical associations between the representations of the source and destination.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2003Date of Patent: October 6, 2009Assignee: Vignette CorporationInventors: Andrew Groh, Rob Surratt, Marc Harris, Mikhail Gurevich
