Abstract: Disclosed frameworks for generating an image including a salient object and a staged background include extracting a salient object from a source image and applying a generative model to the salient object to generate the image. According to some embodiments, extracting a salient object from a source image involves using salient object detection method to identify the relevant portions of the source image corresponding to the salient object. In some embodiments, the generative model is a generative adversarial network trained using a domain relevant dataset.

Abstract: In an example, a first set of text may be received from a client device. A set of content items may be selected from among content items based upon the first set of text and a plurality of sets of content item text associated with the content items. A set of terms may be determined based upon the first set of text and the set of content items. A similarity profile associated with the set of terms may be generated. The similarity profile is indicative of similarity scores associated with similarities between terms of the set of terms. Relevance scores associated with the set of terms may be determined based upon the similarity profile. One or more search terms may be selected from among the set of terms based upon the relevance scores. A search may be performed based upon the one or more search terms.

Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework that provides mechanisms for predicting user actions of provided digital content based on an aggregation of user data. Conventional user tracking, and action prediction and recommendation systems have a lifespan that is ending in the short term due to new privacy laws. The disclosed framework enables personalized recommendations to be formulated for specific users based on an imputation from user data aggregated from a plurality of users. While anonymity is maintained, recommendations for predicted actions can be provided to the users and/or the providers of the content. The disclosed framework can scale the aggregated user data using a Naïve Bayes classifier, from which a logistic regression modeling can be performed to determine the predicted recommendation.

Abstract: This invention relates to oil refining, more particularly to a composition of a heavy fuel oil for use in marine power units and boiler plants. The fuel comprises, in percent by weight: an extract from the selective extraction of gas oil—(3-5), heavy catalytic cracking gas oil—(3-10), vacuum gas oil—(5-10), tar or topped residuum—(3-10), straight-run black oil—(10-20), viscosity breaking residue of heavy oil fractions—the rest. The selected combination of the components and their ratio may for example, result in a stable heavy fuel oil having improved viscosity properties. The inclusion of the above components into the fuel composition may also make it possible to expand the production of heavy fuel oils produced.
