  • Patent number: 4286934
Abstract: A portable plant for on-site horizontal casting and erecting concrete wall panels and roof slabs of bays with variable widths and heights to form one-story, split-level and two-story houses and other buildings. The plant embodies two rotatable form-erectors for casting and erecting longitudinal bearing wall panels, a lifting form for casting and erecting roof slabs and a rotatable form-stripper for casting and erecting cross wall panels. The casting and erecting equipment is mounted either on a truck or a rail car.In order to meet the highway movement restrictions, the lifting form and form-stripper can be folded. The form-erectors have several versions of their design and mutual arrangement. These versions give five modifications of the plant. The maximum overall cross dimensions of the plant in a travelling position do not exceed 3.6 m (12 ft.) in width and 3.9 m (13 ft.) in height.

  • Patent number: 4207042
Abstract: A machine for horizontal casting of concrete wall panels and slabs and for assembling them together to form room units or single-story buildings. The machine includes a wheeled frame, movable along a rail-track; two form-erectors, rotatable parallel to the rail-track; two form-strippers, rotatable across the track, and a lifting mould. All edges on the form-erectors and form-strippers are detachable and must be taken away before rotating. When used at the plant, the machine erects the room units on two trailers (one on each side of a casting station). A typical technological cycle starts with erecting a cross wall panel on an incomplete room unit. For this purpose the form-stripper rotates into vertical position, the machine moves close to the room unit, and the panel is released with a bottom hinged lock bracket. After the panel is fixed, the room unit, having been on the trailer, is ready for transportation to the job site.

  • Patent number: 4149697
Abstract: An outfit for manufacturing concrete units includes one frame, which can move along a rail-track, and two detachable forms-tilters on it. The length of the unit made in the forms can be varied. Each form has also detachable equipment (edges, dies, and dividing bars). Before stripping the units, the side edges of the form are thrown aside and the bottom edge is taken away. A detachable hinged clip which is fixed on the bottom side is moved into a working position. Then the form is turned over 90.degree., and the outfit moves to a rack. The top edge is thrown back, the clip is released, and the unit falls down on cushions. The outfit operates in the same manner on the other side of the rail-track. It is possible to manufacture in one form two or more units at the same time with corresponding increase in quantity of clips on the bottom side of the form.
