  • Publication number: 20190168406
Abstract: A work piece positioning system structured for use with work piece processing equipment. The positioning system comprises a guide rail assembly having at least one guide rail, a measurement pattern positioned on at least a portion of at least one guide rail; and a carriage assembly structured for slidable engagement with at least a portion of the guide rail of the guide rail assembly. The carriage assembly may include a controller configured for wireless data communication with at least one mobile computing device, and a stop block. In different embodiments, the controller can be programmed to receive data communicated from an electronic measurement device; to receive a cut-list including a list of cuts to be made on the work piece processing equipment; and/or to receive data derived from at least one information source associated with at least one dimension of a work piece or at least one attribute of a work piece environment.

  • Publication number: 20050215727
Abstract: An adhesive composition is provided that is water-insoluble yet water-absorbent, i.e., capable of absorbing up to 15 wt. % water or more. The composition is composed of a film-forming hydrophilic polymer with at least one linear segment having a plurality of recurring polar groups along the polymer backbone, a complementary multifunctional polymer with a plurality of recurring functional groups that noncovalently bind to the polar groups on the film-forming polymer, and a plasticizer. A method for manufacturing the adhesive composition is provided as well.
