  • Publication number: 20240326831
Abstract: It is herein disclosed a method of collecting data for determining a psychophysiological state of a human driver, comprising collecting data throughout a driving session, wherein the driving session comprises a predetermined time period of non-stop driving by a driver in a monotonous driving environment and a plurality of detection response tasks (DRTs) performed by the driver in the predetermined time period, wherein each DRT comprises the driver reacting to at least one visual stimulus; wherein said collecting data comprises: collecting, by a plurality of detection means, physiological data on the driver throughout the predetermined time period; wherein the physiological data collected comprises at least one of: heart rate data, electroencephalogram data, eye movement data, and respiration data; and collecting driver behaviour data, comprising recording steer wheel activity of the driver and recording a manner in which the driver reacts to the visual stimulus during the plurality of DRTs.

  • Publication number: 20240326829
Abstract: It is herein disclosed a method of collecting data for determining a psychophysiological state of a human driver, comprising collecting data throughout a driving session, wherein the driving session comprises driving on a predetermined route by a driver in an automotive vehicle, wherein the predetermined route is divided into a plurality of route sections comprising a first route section having a first driving environment and a second route section having a second environment, wherein one of the first and second driving environments is a higher-complexity driving environment and the other of the first and second driving environments is a lower-complexity driving environment; wherein the driving session comprises a plurality of driving breaks, each break following immediately after driving in a respective route section is complete, wherein during each driving break a respective detection response task (DRT) is performed by the driver.

  • Publication number: 20240326830
Abstract: It is herein disclosed a method of collecting data for determining a psychophysiological state of a human driver, comprising collecting data throughout a driving session in a car simulator, wherein the driving session comprises a plurality of driving stages, wherein the plurality of driving stages comprise, at least: a first stage of driving by a driver in a first scenario; a second stage of driving by the driver in a first scenario, wherein a first cognitive test is performed by the driver simultaneously with the driving; a third stage of driving by the driver in a second scenario; a fourth stage of driving by the driver in the second scenario, wherein a second cognitive test is performed by the driver simultaneously with the driving; wherein said collecting data comprises: collecting, by a plurality of detection means, physiological data on the driver throughout the driving session; wherein the physiological data collected comprises at least one of: heart rate data, electroencephalogram (EEG) data, eye move

  • Publication number: 20230339479
Abstract: System and computer-implemented method for determining a cognitive demand level of a user, the method comprising: recording, as a first training data subset, one or more first biosignals of a user, wherein the user is occupied with at least one first task, training an artificial neural network on a training dataset to determine a cognitive demand level indicative of cognitive demand the user is experiencing; recording one or more second biosignals of a user of a vehicle as an input dataset; and processing the input dataset by the trained artificial neural network to determine the cognitive demand level indicative of cognitive demand the user is experiencing.

  • Publication number: 20220117529
Abstract: Computer-implemented method for determining an eye movement, the method comprising: recording a series of images of an eye of a person with a camera; generating a first signal indicative of eye openness depending on time; and for each point in time, determining whether the first signal indicates an open eye, a closed eye, or is inconclusive as to whether the eye is open or closed, depending on whether the first signal exceeds a predetermined first threshold; characterized in that the determination further depends on one or more predetermined criteria, wherein the predetermined criteria comprise minimum and maximum values for one or more of a blink duration, a number of blinks per minute, a time between blinks, and a maximum blink velocity during a movement of the eyelid when the eye is being opened and/or closed.
