  • Patent number: 11788633
Abstract: A spool for a spool valve assembly defines a spool longitudinal axis and includes a first land module defining a first land module circumferential surface, a second land module defining a second land module circumferential surface, and a first metering module. The first metering module has a first end cap and a second end cap. The first end cap is coupled to the first land module, and the second end cap is coupled to the second land module, to form the spool. The first metering module may further include at least two pillars extending from the first end cap to the second end cap, wherein the at least two pillars are entirely disposed within a virtual first metering module hollow cylinder area that surrounds a virtual first metering module central core area concentric with the spool longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 11506297
Abstract: A valve body defines a work passage, a high-pressure channel fluidly connected to the work passage, a tank passage, and a cavity disposed between the high-pressure channel and the tank passage. The cavity fluidly connects the high-pressure channel and the tank passage. The cavity is defined at least in part by a first portion within which a relief valve threadedly engages, a second portion disposed adjacent to the high-pressure channel, and an annulus interposed between the first portion and the second portion. The annulus fluidly connects to the tank passage. A surface area of the relief valve exposed to the annulus is greater than a cross-sectional area of the high-pressure channel.

  • Publication number: 20150267831
Abstract: A valve cover includes a first cover portion, second cover portion, web, and a plurality of bolt holes formed therein. The first cover portion has a first shape. The second cover portion has a second shape that is different from the first shape. The web connects the first cover portion to the second cover portion. The valve cover has a long axis disposed along the first cover portion, web and second cover portion. A first bolt hole of the plurality of bolt holes is offset from a remainder of the plurality of the bolt holes.

  • Patent number: 7692136
Abstract: A portable illumination device, for illuminating an object through a medium having an absorption coefficient, has a lighting unit including at least two differently colored light sources for emitting light having a color distribution and a control unit for adjusting the color distribution. The control unit is adapted to receive a distance estimate corresponding to the distance between the illumination device and the object, and adjust the color distribution depending on the distance estimate, such that light reflected from the object is perceived to have substantially correct color reproduction.

  • Publication number: 20090014624
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable illumination device (100) for illuminating an object (200) through a medium having an absorption coefficient, the illumination device (100) comprising a lighting unit (101) including at least two differently colored light sources (Li-L3) for emitting light having a color distribution, and a control unit (105) for adjusting the color distribution. The control unit (105) is adapted to receive a distance estimate corresponding to the distance between the illumination device (100) and the object (200), and adjust the color distribution depending on the distance estimate, such that light reflected from the object is perceived to have substantially correct color reproduction. An advantage with the invention is that an object (200) illuminated through a medium will be perceived by a user using the portable illumination device (100) as having a substantially correct color reproduction.
